The fourth annual holiday-themed Race 13.1 Durham half marathon, 10k and 5k returns on December 8, 2018! With North Carolina's mild winter temperatures, this December race will be a great way for any runner to close out the fall race season and stay focused on training through the Thanksgiving holiday!
In addition to the shops and restaurants Northgate has to offer, runners and spectators will want to take advantage the restaurants and eateries that gave Durham the title "Tastiest Town in the South" by Southern Living. Home to Duke University, Duke Gardens, the Durham Bulls baseball team and the Durham Performing Arts Center, the No. 4 ranked theater in the country, Durham and the surrounding Research Triangle Park offers plenty of sites to see and activities to do throughout the weekend.
